Product Details
These pipes replace the plastic pipework from the turbo to intercooler and the plastic pipe between the intercooler and throttle body. The original pipes are very restrictive, limiting the amount of airflow . Further more these flattened pipes are usually made by fusing two plastic halves together, a process which often leaves the pipes uneven, or with melted plastic residue protruding from the seams.
There is plenty of clearance between the block and the chassis for a larger round pipe. The pipes included in this kit are larger, but not so large as to cause ECU errors. The gentle bends make for smooth air flow throughout the system. This is a great upgrade for chipped or big turbo cars, as the larger bore and smooth flowing characteristics are more beneficial when running a higher volume of air.
